British Craft

I have always been drawn to capturing creatives at work. The first photography project I completed, during my photojournalism master's program, focused on a renowned publishing house, Tallone Editore, based near Turin. Tallone's books are still handset and handmade, and I vividly recall the excitement I felt observing the process, the printing machines still in use and the exquisite books crafted in the atelier.

Soon after I relocated to England, still inspired by that experience, I decided to develop a series on British craftsmanship. I began with artisans I had the privilege of meeting in Oxford and later expanded to London. These photographs are part of that ongoing series, which continues to hold a special place in my heart.
